Bebe Rexha & David Guetta – One in a Million

Bebe Rexha and David Guetta are still good, and they’ve unexpectedly decided to grace us with a single, “One in a Million,” that commemorates everything we wish love is. The anthemic single follows Guetta and Rexha’s hit song, “I’m Good (Blue),” which has been spicing up our playlists since it dropped last summer.

“One in a Million” is a song that takes a fantastical approach to love. It is complemented by a buoyant tune that makes it dancefloor worthy, and, of course, Rexha’s ethereal vocals perfectly flow over a synth beat.

You’re my one, one, one in a million / It’s like someone picked you outta the sky / Maybe I met you for a reason / And I can’t believe that we’re both alive at the same time,” Rexha sings about being besotted by a lover, who she can’t believe exists in the same time period as her and is so good for her.

“One in a Million” is expected to appear on the deluxe version of Rexha’s album Bebe and features Rexha, Guetta, and five other people on its songwriting credits. The song samples another Guetta song, “When Love Takes Over,” with Kelly Rowland.

“It’s about finding that one person that I can rely on all the time, you know what I mean? Right now in my life it’s a true reflection of myself and finding myself and working on myself. I just love the energy on it,” Rexha says of the song, before teasing fans about an upcoming fourth studio album.

If you know Rexha, you’ll know that she doesn’t like to put a tag on her sexuality, she simply falls in love with anyone that makes her feel good, and that’s just about it. “I fall in love with a person, I fall in love with energy and vibes. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re found or what your sexuality is… I just fall in love with whoever makes me happy and how I feel and who I feel connected too,” Bebe added.

Aside from “I’m Good (Blue),” Guetta also joined forces with American rapper Coi Leray and British singer Anne-Marie earlier this summer to release “Baby Don’t Hurt Me.” The song is a reinvention of the 1993 Haddaway hit “What Is Love.”
