Copenhagen-based contemporary luxury brand GANNI and the Amsterdam-based eyewear label Ace & Tate have joined forces to drop the must-have eyewear capsule collection for your summer ensembles.
The exclusive sunglasses come in three different styles that feature the signature GANNI logo on the temples. Inspired by the Y2K aesthetic that has been making a huge comeback, each pair of shades comes with a custom GANNI x Ace & Tate leopard print pouch made from leftover GANNI materials. The sunglasses themselves have been made using Acetate Renew Bio and recycled acetate materials. Ace & Tate is one of the few brands combining this innovation with bio-plasticizers.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Ace & Tate on this special sunglasses collection. Together, we have created a range of shades that not only reflect GANNI’s unique style but shines light on Ace and Tate’s impressive practice when it comes to responsible materials,” the creative director of GANNI, Ditte Reffstrup, said. “We see collaboration as a force for change in fashion, and this collaboration is a celebration of just that.”
The GANNI x Ace & Tate sunglasses collection is available in select GANNI and Ace & Tate stores across Europe right now. In the US, the collaboration is scheduled to drop on June 14. The items can also be purchased online at GANNI.com & aceandtate.com
The GANNI x Ace & Tate sunglasses collection varies in price depending on which design you choose. The Twiggy and Xena shades are €185/£185/$210 while Trixie is a little more expensive at €210/£210/$240. Colors include Burgundy, Matcha Green, Havana Brown, and an exclusive Bubblegum Pink colorway for GANNI only.
