Bea Miller- Wisdom Teeth

Bea Miller makes a fiery return with her new single “Wisdom Teeth,” the first taste of what’s to come this year.

On the retrospective track, Miller recollects memories of the lost innocence of her childhood as she remembers staring at herself in the mirror in her tutu at four years old. Her unique vocals are backed by energetic synths.

Miller captures the transition into adulthood perfectly. You reach that point and don’t even know how you did it then you look back at your younger self and it feels foreign. Growing old means becoming much more mindful of how little you know and the uncertainty it comes with this knowledge. With the play on words, “Wisdom Teeth” means it feels like someone pulled something out and left you drained.

The bright, colorful music video was filmed in her apartment and gives off strong Billie Eilish vibes.

She consistently puts out music that’s easily relatable, making you feel comforted and understood in one way or another. With every release, the maturity as both a songwriter and artist is shown. To coincide with the release of “Wisdom Teeth,” the singer/songwriter has announced that her new EP elated! will drop on October 23. It’s set to be her most authentic batch of music yet and gets even more personal and political while remaining as fierce as ever.

Her single “Feel Something”  became a massive streaming hit this year with over 155 million streams since its release in 2019. Thanks to the “Euphoria Makeup Challenge” on TikTok, the song became a fan favorite with over 1.3 million video creations.

Miller is set to take the stage Oct. 16-18 performing from Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom for Save Our Stages #SOSFEST, a three-day virtual event from YouTube Music and the National Independent Venue Association to help save Indie music venues across the U.S. The festival will stream live on NIVA’s YouTube channel.
