EVAN GIIA today premieres the acoustic version of her latest track “Focus” with EUPHORIA.
GIIA gives the pop tune a delicate, stripped-back spin, and shares a stunning accompanying music video.
The vibrant visual depicts ex-opera singer EVAN GIIA sitting in front of a camera, a purple sunset illuminating the sky behind her.
It was filmed whilst GIIA was quarantining at her parents’ home in rural Massachusetts. Sitting on the edge of the nearby Bay, you can feel her emotion breathing through the screen.
“Focus” was written when “huge list maker” EVAN GIIA was trying to remind herself of all the things that matter in her life: her family, friends, health, and music. The song particularly resonates in today’s fractious world.
Now based in Brooklyn, the Berklee College of Music graduate has been going from strength to strength. Since her breakout single “WESTWORLD” and self-directed music video propelled her to #1 on Hype Machine in 2018, EVAN GIIA has been releasing a string of captivating singles. It’s no surprise that she’s racking up millions of streams – and luckily for us – there’s no sign of slowing down.
