The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Launches Heroes at Heart Benefit

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, based out of Los Angeles, is making sure that our heroes on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis are feeling the love and getting the help they need. One of the world’s leading roasters and retailers of specialty coffee and teas has launched two limited edition blends, one coffee and one tea called “Heroes at Heart.”

$1 from each sale will benefit local charitable organizations like the 100 Club of Arizona, the California Peace Officers Memorial, the American Nurses Foundation’s Coronavirus Response Fund, and the California Fire Foundation. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is committing to help local nursing staff and emergency first responders get the financial and mental health support that they need.

Beginning May 20, the “Heroes at Heart” Coffee and Tea Blends will be available for purchase and will be hitting stores in June. “Heroes at Heart” mugs will also be available for purchase on the website. A dollar from each purchase will be donated to charities benefiting first responders. In addition to helping with funds, the company has also been delivering free coffee and pastries to those on the front lines at local hospitals in the Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego areas. First responders and frontline healthcare workers can also continue to receive a $1 off discount off their beverages, a program that has been in place year-round to thank these heroes for their commitment to the community.

VP of Marketing, Darrin Kellaris said, “With the emergence of Covid-19, now more than ever, we want to show appreciation for the nurses, firefighters and peace officers who keep us safe. We are proud to do our part to give back to the community.”
