Glossier Launches New Hand Cream

First 10,000 units were given to healthcare professionals

Cult skincare brand, Glossier, have launched a hand cream – and we can’t wait to get our paws on it.

The highly-anticipated drop was announced on Glossier’s Instagram account on April 23, where the brand told followers that the product – which had been in the works for almost two years – was being gifted to 10,000 US healthcare professionals first.

The nourishing cream is packed with fast-absorbing, calming extracts like complete with ingredients like Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Coconut Fruit Extract, Echinacea Extract, and Rosemary Leaf to soothe dry, cracked skin. It’s arguably Glossier’s most timely drop, given the current pandemic.

We’re grateful beyond measure for the healthcare workers on the front lines of COVID-19. Over the past month, we’ve donated thousands of Glossier balms, face mists, and moisturizers to support these teams. One of the most requested items is hand cream, something that’s been in the works at Glossier for nearly two years. We’re so excited to finally bring it into the world next Thursday, April 23. Starting today, we want to give the first 10,000 Hand Creams to the hands that need it most right now. If you work in a hospital in the U.S., click the link in our bio to sign up for you and your teammates. To the rest of our community, we can’t wait to bring Hand Cream to you next week! ✨ Update: Due to the amazing response we've received, we've reached our cap of 10,000 Hand Cream donations! We’ll be following up with the remaining applicants who are verified healthcare professionals✨

The hand cream has already racked up a score of 4.5 stars on the Glossier website. It’s no wonder – featuring a healthy price tag of just $18 / £16, the product is cruelty-free, with recyclable packaging to boot. What more could you want from a hand cream?

If you want to try more of Glossier’s products, the hand cream will also be sold as part of a limited-edition “Comfort Collection” set, which also includes the Priming Moisturizer Rich and Bubblewrap, retailing for $65.
