Having my own docuseries for curvaceous women called “Curvy Style with Timothy Snell.”

How do you like using color?
I love the use of color in accessories such as shoes, handbags, and jewelry, etc.

Do you let your personal preference impact how you style clients?
Yes, of course, my personal style impacts some looks. When styling a client I believe you are hired because of the presence you bring.

You’ve worked with the iconic Whitney Houston for years. What was your favorite moment with her?
My most favorite moments with Whitney were in the quick-change rooms on the road when she was touring. We had the most amazing moments and laughs.

Favorite styling moment with her?
I would say it was the video for “Million Dollar Bill.” It really showcased the many different sides of her style.

You’re styling her for her upcoming hologram tour— what are some challenges you face while planning tour looks for a hologram?
It was important to be accurate with Whitney’s signature looks. Some of the challenges were about being accurate and duplicating signature moments that would represent her amazing moments. I feel we achieved it and more.

What are the brand’s reactions like that you’re tapping into for pieces/inspiration?
I actually tap into all the brands. I am inspired by true art and beauty. There are so many designers today who are inspirational such as Christian Siriano.

My first fashion memory would be watching movies & TV with my Mom who had great style and loved fashion.

Who are your biggest style icons right now?
Rihanna and Meghan Markle 🙂

What’s your wardrobe MVP — for yourself as well as clients?
An oversized coat and an oversized handbag. These 2 items are perfect for running around and traveling.

If you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?
I could never choose just one!!!!!

What would you never wear?
I don’t like overly graphic clothing or bright colors.

What’s the IT bag right now?
Handbags with unique handles and texture.

What advice would you give to an aspiring celebrity stylist?
Intern with a good stylist that you could learn from. Find a fashion mentor, stay focused and build a strong contact list.
