Jordache Make Their NYFW Debut

The ’80s are back: Jordache holds a presentation at the Mercer Hotel in Soho

It seems the 1980s are back in full swing at Jordache. For the first time in decades, the brand was part of New York Fashion Week and it evokes a sense of nostalgia.

High waists, faded denim, and cowboy-inspired footwear ruled the presentation. The brand made its mark in the most tried and true way possible. We give them tons of kudos for bringing the fashion community together in an intimate space to not only remember, but re-introduce an iconic heritage brand.

The denim jackets are totally wearable and practical. Our favorite part about them is that they’ve stood the test of time. Whether distressed, bleached, oversized or cropped it’s a go-to in our closet that we can always count on. Let’s not mention that both genders and age group can pull them off with ease.

Jordache’s mid-range and affordable price points could be their ticket to modern day success and a great way for a younger audience to connect with their mothers, aunts, or older family members who introduced them to the brand.

We can absolutely see women paring back classic Jordache denim to a white poplin shirt, understated t-shirt, or even designer shoes to make them a focal point. Excited to follow all of the great things in store for Jordache and noticing a younger clientele styling their line in a fresh, new way.
