Twin Wild – Control

“Control” is a rousing, anthemic indie rock track packed with gusto. It’s a change up to the usual for Twin Wild but it’s quite a tune. It sounds bigger than anything that the band has done before and this is perhaps due to it being produced by Nothing but Thieves and Placebo’s producer, Adam Noble. If anything is clear here it’s that Twin Wild mean business with this new track.

Speaking about “Control” the band explain, “‘Control’ is different to what we have ever released before. The chorus started as a rhythmical melody we had been playing with for a while for fun and we didn’t even plan for it to become a song really until we wrote the lyrics.” They sum up the song, quite rightly, as  “that little smile you get when karma has its way.”

Thy’re just had a video released for “Control” and it’s something special. It’s slick. There’s a red/white contrasting background and annotations that only make the song even sharper, every beat feels more pronounced, and the groove is evident in they way they’re all moving. It’s a simple video which compliments the song by not over complicating it with overlying themes, letting the song speak for itself. Check it out below.
