The Night Café – Strange Clothes

After releasing a string of singles, The Night Café have announced their debut EP Get Away From It. The single “Strange Clothes” offers a lot of promise for the forthcoming EP.

The drums kick off the track.  Soon followed by the rest of the band. Keeping it tight and contained while adding heaps of rhythm. Then the vocals come in. “You can’t explain how your feeling. your whole words been turned upside down and Sean’s vocals contrast the lyrics as they feel warm and comforting.

Before the verse drags on too long. The instruments become forefront again and give the song it’s driving force. The Liverpudlian quartet bring it home with their big finale where they lock in and power into it with spiralling guitar, thumping  bass and the striking beat of the drums.

The Night Café have the excellent type of songs to fit in at festivals, be sure to catch them this summer at the Dot to Dot festival or Above Festival. Or before that they support Sundara Karma. Or on their headline tour to celebrate their EP, “Get Away With It” out 10th March.
