Taken from the Columbus-based band’s upcoming Body Language EP, due for release on August 12th, the track is the measure of quintessential alternative pop in its most simple and effective form. Generous with the synths and backing vocals of boundless “oohs” and “aahs,” the real crux comes with just how overtly self-indulgent and carefree it is. Add in some crazy drum work and scream the name of the song as a chorus and you’ve pretty much got a glittering, hook-filled summer anthem nailed.
