Since the sneak peek we got from their upcoming third studio album Home of The Strange, “Amerika,” we’ve been dying to hear more from Young The Giant. Now, they’ve just released yet another single, “Something To Believe In.”
Electro-heavier than most of their other songs, “Something To Believe In” shows off a new side to Young The Giant. With its outstanding bass line and guitar melodies, the song takes on a darker undertone. There is more anger and angst present and Sameer voice gets all raspy and gritty as he hits the high notes in this track. If this is a sign for what is to come, we are in for a surprise, a pleasant one at that.
This goes without saying but “Something To Believe In” has just made me much more excited for Home of the Strange’s release this August. In the meantime, you can catch Young The Giant on tour, check out their tour dates here.
