Amber Run – Haze

“My friends have all left me away on the breeze. There’s a crushing silence where love’s a disease. Like a fever it grips me, like a lover it holds.”

Amber Run release their first single since the release of their debut album 5AM last year. The, now, quartet revealed their more experimental side with latest track, “Haze.” The track, like the band’s previous record, serves a personal and intimate portrayal of their experiences.

The band say, “Haze is about seeing the world through a veil of distrust and sadness. An apology for feeling that whatever you do, you’ll inevitably end up failing; that whoever you love will inevitably end up leaving, and that in whichever direction you walk, you’ll inevitably end up at the same place. It’s a plea for someone or something to come along and get you back on your feet.”

The accompanying music video was released shortly after the single on VEVO. You can watch it below.
