“Now my time has come. Something in my blood tells me I can’t stay. I’m not native, I’m not native here”
20-year-old KYKO is back with an all-new single, “Native”. Over the years, he has been building up quite the name for himself, raking up over 2 million plays on his debut EP Animals, not forgetting his previous single, “Pull Me Up”. He is widely known for his flurry of African-inspired electronic sounds and percussive beats. With charming guitar riffs and an infectious hook, “Native” is tune you would be glad is stuck in your head.
There is a comforting quality in his voice and the soulful dedication in his vocals leaves us in awe. With his rhythmic guitar riffs, unique beats and fine blend of feel-good indie, KYKO definitely shows a lot of potential and is well on his way to becoming the next big thing.
KYKO and his sense of musical direction is talented beyond his years and his rise in the music scene is only imminent. KYKO is currently on tour with indie darlings Fickle Friends and X Ambassadors, but will have his first ever headline show in London end this month! More details here.
