“And when you say you’ll never leave me, know it’s all in vain. And these memories, they haunt me wherever I go.”
“It’s All in Vain” from synth pop trio, Wet, puts a delay in grasping in their listeners and new fans. Though the delay is worth it. At the 45-second mark, it would be considered nerving to stop the single from playing. The lead singer’s, Kelly Zutrau, vocals move in such a swaying way synonymous to a tidal wave. It’s a ghostly chilling add for the evening playlist.Â
Don’t You, the debut LP from Wet, releases January 29 via Columbia Records.Â
