Hailing from Bedford, England, alt-rock band The Wholls’ debut single, “X21,” has good rock beats and rhythms, as well as vocal delivery, and is a fresh addition to the alt-rock music scene. The song is undeniably catchy and seems to speak to passions and implications inherent in being 21 years old. The band itself sounds to be some kind of cross between a less poppy The 1975 and a more mellow Royal Blood but is definitely a unique act that would be recognized as a stand-alone four-piece band.
