Wolf Alice – Bros

“Shake your hair, have some fun. Forget our mothers and past lovers, forget everyone.”

Although fans may recognize Wolf Alice’s recent release, this is one gift listeners won’t mind unwrapping again. The North London quartet have re-worked their magic on “Bros,” a sentimental ode to youth and childhood friendship. Originally released in 2013, the track is looking to make its second debut on the band’s upcoming debut album My Love Is Cool.

Speaking to NPR, fierce frontwoman Ellie Rowsell explains that “Bros” has “grown and changed with us over the past couple of years, taking on different shapes and forms until it evolved into being this definitive album version.” The re-release is a strong indicator of the band’s consistent talent and developed sound. Celebratory in lyrics and production, “Bros” captures the youth and energy that Wolf Alice displays in abundance.

They’re the new, cool kids ready to rock the charts with their anticipated LP due June 23rd through Dirty Hit/RCA Records.
