Rebecca Clements – Pure Wasted

“We had something pure, now it’s pure wasted”

Anyone familiar with Bristol’s Rebecca Clements will have fallen in love with her soft story telling of previous singles “Wildlife,” “Love Child” and “Coma Boy” that blended her passion with a sense of temperate vulnerability. New single “Pure Wasted” shows the newcomer has got a sharper edge. The tempo has upped for a track about “the idea of a pure substance and a pure love, both are equally as toxic.” Toxicity is certainly the vibe with a grittier guitar line and more urgent percussion.

Clements yesterday posted a delightful stripped back cover of The Cure’s “Boys Don’t Cry” which you on her Soundcloud.
