“It was better for if you don’t see it. I try to hold in the door, and you just closed it.”
Much different than his dance anthem “Run on Love” with Tove Lo, Lucas Nord’s latest is a slow jam. The Swedish producer shows off his writing and singing skills with “Nothing Left,” a significant departure from his previous energetic works. Nord’s soft vocals play well with the tender arrangement, which includes finger-snaps and an atmospheric synth. The track’s production demonstrates Nord’s adaptability with different genres and will most likely showcase a change of pace for the musician.
“Nothing Left” is taken from the upcoming album After You. The seven track LP will debut on May 19th via Cosmos.
