BRONCHO – Class Historian

“Chill down, I’m doing great. Doing well is pretty vague. Single mama I want to get that number. You look as strong as you did before.”

Tulsa, Oklahoma trio, BRONCHO, released their sophomore album Just Enough Hip to Be Woman in September of this year. Their single “Class Historian” is from the album. BRONCHO’s sound was described as being Fast Times at Ridgemont High meets Drive, and I think that is a perfect description.

The track is infectiously catchy and fun. Though a majority of the song is sung in non-lexical vocals, the spirit of the track is not lost. BRONCHO’s sound is garage pop with fuzzy guitars and contagious melodies – a refreshing take on something that seems influenced from the past.
